Our technical service provider, AmToTe, has informed us that the issue resulted from a system error on their part. According to AmTote’s official release on the matter: “At approximately 4:45pm, a failure occurred in both the primary and secondary RCN connections to the Mid Atlantic operations center.” The release continues: “This failure interrupted all Inter-Tote Wagering (ITW) connections in Maryland provided through RCN, as well as communications to certain racetracks connected to the Mid Atlantic operations centre.”

This error not only affected Caymanas Park but also impacted the racing schedule and betting systems at all tracks on the AmTote network, including Gulfstream Park, Laurel Park, and Santa Anita.
