Kingston, Jamaica – Supreme Ventures Racing and Entertainment Limited (SVREL), operators of Caymanas Park is excited to announce its Carnival of Racing weekend, taking place on May 3-4, 2025.
The two-day racing extravaganza kicks off on Saturday, May 3rd with the simulcast of the prestigious Kentucky Derby Day from Churchill Downs. For the first time, Jamaican punters will have the opportunity to place bets on one of the world’s most celebrated horse events.
Saturday’s live race card at Caymanas Park will also feature the Breakfast Cup with post time 11:30am further whetting the appetites of racing fans for a full day of high level racing. Saturday will also feature the official press launch of the 2025 Mouttet Mile, Jamaica’s richest horse race.
The action continues on Sunday, May 4th with the 5th Running of the Kingston & Portmore (Gr. 2) sponsored by Front Runner, the crucial final leg on the Road to the Triple Crown. The highly anticipated races draw the finest three-year-old thoroughbreds in the region, all competing for glory on their journey toward Triple Crown contention.
Alongside the elite racing action, families and fans will enjoy a festive atmosphere with entertainment and activities throughout the venue, making it a perfect day out for racing fans and casual visitors alike.
